First Tooth

Yesterday we went over to my Mother-in-laws house for lunch. I mentioned to her that Faith's bottom gums looked really white and she would probably be getting a tooth soon. Donna felt her bottom gums and what did she feel, A TOOTH. Faith has her 1st tooth :). Yippee!! It is so awesome that I am able to be with Faith all of the time and be there for ALL of her firsts :). They grow up way too fast!!

A GREAT Visit

On Thursday Evening my Dad came to town to visit. As soon as Logan's soccer practice was over we rushed to the airport. I was absolutley amazed but Faith went right to my Dad and was happy :). She doesn't always go to people she doesn't know very well. I think he was familiar to her because there is a picture of my Dad & Kathy on the fireplace and Faith always looks at that picture and moves it around everywhere.

On Friday we picked Logan up from school and went and had pictures made. They turned out GREAT. I am having a very hard time deciding which ones to order. I hate it when they all turn out GREAT and then you have to decide. After pictures we came back to the house, picked up David and went out to dinner. We had Carrabbas and man it was delicious. After we ate til we could eat no more we went to Adventure Landing and my Dad, David, & Logan rode go carts. Faith and I just watched :).

Saturday we went to Logan's soccer game. Logan and his team did great. I think Logan scored atleast 2 goals if not 3. Logan's team won. They are undefeated :). After the game we had lunch and then came back to the house for a much needed nap. After we were all rested we got ready and went to Ted's Montana Grill for dinner. It was delicious!! After dinner we went to the bowling alley and the guys bowled a couple of games. Faith and I just watched :).

On Sunday morning we had to take my Dad to the airport so he could fly home :(. I hated to see him go. We had such a great time and the kids really enjoyed spending time with him. The next time we see him will probably be July which seems like it is far away but I guess the way time is flying by it is just around the corner.

As I have gotten older I have come to realize how important it is to spend time with family and to cherish all the memories. I try to teach this to my children so they will understand the importance of family and the importance of spending quality time with loved ones whenever you can, especially when they live out of town.

I just thought I would share a little about our visit. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend too :).

Taking a break

WOW!! I always seem to forget how much energy it takes to clean house. I have been cleaning since I dropped Logan off at school this morning and now I am taking a break. My Dad is coming to visit this weekend so I have to make sure everything is cleaned up. I have been cleaning out clothes and stuff and it has piled up, now it is time to get it out of the house.

We are so excited that my Dad is coming to visit. He hasn't seen Faith since Thanksgiving and man she has changed. She for sure has her very own wonderful personality. He is going to be shocked at how much she has changed and how mobile she is. She is all over the place. Maybe that is why it seems like more work than usual to get the house cleaned up. She has journeyed into parts of the living room that she normally doesn't visit and has knocked quite a few things over :).

Well guess I better go eat something and get back to work while Faith is napping :).

The Alexanders

Waiting on the Lord's guidance

Just when you think everything is going well in your family someone or something gets in the middle and tries to mess things up. I know it is the devil trying to stir everything up because he just can't stand to see someone who is strong in the Lord and trying to get the rest of the family to Trust in the Lord. There is a situation in my family that I am waiting on guidance from the Lord on, to know if I am suppose to get involved or not. I really feel like I should call everyone involved together and be the mediator so that everything can be put out on the table before someone ends up getting hurt. The way things are going now someone is already hurting very much. I do not want to get involved in the drama, I just want this whole thing to be solved. What I really want is for the people involved to GROW UP and act like the adults they are suppose to be.

Please pray with me for the Lord's guidance.
