Logan's Soccer Game - 9/20/2008

On Saturday Logan had is 3rd game of the Fall 2008 season. They won 13-0. Logan scored six goals during this game, bringing his total to 13 goals so far this season.

Faith's 1st Birthday Party

On Saturday, September 6th, we had Faith's 1st Birthday Party at David's Mom's house. It was GREAT! Ever since Faith could play with toys her favorite toy has been this pink poodle toy so for her 1st Birthday I thought it would be cute to do a pink poodle theme. So I started my search and found the perfect stuff. The party turned out perfect, if you ask me. We had a great turn out and great food. I made the cakes and even made Faith her own little cake, she didn't even touch it. I think her audience was probably too big and she wasn't sure what to do. She had the most perfect birthday dress, she wore it til it was time for cake. I wasn't sure if she would dive right in to the cake or not so I put her bathin suit on and I just had to add a tutu to the outfit to keep it girly girly. The BEST Waiter ever!!

I'd like to take a moment to recognize the BEST Waiter ever. You know who you are. Even though it was HOT you did your best to keep our glasses full of something cold to drink and for that I THANK YOU. And after we were done eating you were there to give us what we needed to clean the bar-b-que off of our hands. You were GREAT. We did not leave you a tip so I thought I would post a THANK YOU on my blog. So, here it is, THANK YOU!!! :)

My Little Princess is 1 year old today :)

Faith is 1 year old today. I can't believe that it has already been a year since the day she was born. The Lord as truly blessed us with a happy, beautiful little princess who brightens up the room when she enters. She is such a joy to me and amazes me all the time. I PRAISE the LORD for Blessing us with Faith.

Getting Ready

Well for all of you who really know me, you know that I am a planner. I have been planning Faith's 1st Birthday Party for months now. There are only 6 days left til the big day. I have all of the decorations and I have made my grocery list for all of the food. But there is one thing happening that I have no control over, Tropical Storm Hanna is projected to come straight for us, I guess that I will be praying extra hard this week that she stays away. I want the day to be absolutely perfect for my Little Princesses' Birthday. If is does rain the party will go on. A little rain never hurt anyone. It is so exciting to be able to plan a girly party. All the pink stuff is GREAT. Logan's parties have always been fun and it has been fun making the different cakes but this is a different kind of fun. I will post pictures from the party next week.
