July 29th - Dinner with long time friends

While we were on Vacation some long time friends of David's Family came to visit his Mom & Sister for a week. One night they came down and met us for dinner. We had a great time @ dinner and then walked down to the beach to take some pictures. The pictures turned out beautiful, if you ask me :)

Faith walking - a lot of steps

Last night Faith took a whole lot of steps on her own. She wouldn't do it for me but she did it for Logan. I missed the first time but grabbed the camera and Logan got her to do it again. I am not sure if she was going after Mr. Bear or her Bubba but whatever she was going for, she walked :). I know the video isn't all that great but I lightened it up as much as I could. The was no time for special lighting, I had to catch it while I could.

Family Vacation - @ the Beach

The beach was nice but most days it was very hot. We usually went down around 10:00 or 10:30 and stayed til around 12:00pm. When 12 came along then it was lunch time. After lunch we would go to the pool. A few hours at the beach was enough for me especially since Faith decided she needed to be in the chair with me every time I would sit down to try to get some sun. Faith really likes the beach and all of the sand. She isn't afraid to get dirty :)

Dinner with the family - Thursday, July 31st

One night on our week long vacation we all go out to dinner together. In years past I get pictures of everyone along with their family. I don't know what happened this year but I failed. Here are a few pictures of Me, David & Faith. Logan ran off like usual because he hates having his picture made unless it is being done by a professional photographer.

Family Vacation - Picture Day

This year while on our Family Vacation in Cresent Beach we had pictures done of the whole family. The whole week was beautiful. It would rain around lunch time but then would clear up and be sunny by late afternoon. On Friday, which was the day set aside for pictures it rained & rained & rained. I captured it in the pictures below. It ended up that we had some pictures done on Friday and the rest done on Saturday morning. It all worked out and from what I have seen so far the pictures are AWESOME!! Tennessee Vacation - Summer 2008

Our first family vacation of the Summer was to Tennessee to visit my Dad, Kathy & my Grandparents. We got to fly thanks to my Dad which gave us a lot of extra time there. David, Faith and I stayed for a week and then had to come home. Logan got to stay a week and a half longer than we did. It was really great to be able to spend so much time with my Dad, Kathy, Grandmomma & Grandaddy. I know they really enjoyed seeing & spending time with Logan & Faith. It would take me all day to tell you about our trip so I have uploaded pictures instead. I hope you enjoy.
